Well, here we go! Another year in the books and I've had time to reflect and sift through the endless images from 2017 - 24 weddings and 37 engagement/lifestyle sessions. It's taken me a month into the new year to really let everything sit and steep. It's been a year of challenges and new beginnings - my first official year in business full-time. I pinch myself on the daily because I feel so lucky to do what I do.

Below are bits and pieces of 2017, juuuust a little glimpse. People are at the heart of what I love to capture and I truly hope it shows. Thank you to all the lovely couples who trusted me to document such important moments of their lives; I'll forever be grateful.

Tyler + Blake // Crossroads Uptown

Tyler and Blake - what a genuine, kind pair. It was such a privilege to document their day here in Cincinnati at Crossroads Uptown where Tyler works as a super rad videographer. Every moment of this day was filled with all the emotion. Oh, and their reception was certainly the rowdiest and most fun I think...ever. Probably because of their giant wedding party - the largest I've ever photographed. Though, it didn't come as a surprise because there are so many people who love these two. It was so easy to see how important family and friends are to Tyler and Blake.

This one's special, so get to scrolling if you're in the sappy love mood.

Jaymee & Jake // The Turn Vintage Warehouse

I'm not sure there are enough words to truly describe how much I adore Jaymee and Jake - they are seriously some of the coolest cats around I tell ya. There wedding day was nothing short of amazing. From the classic car they drove around town in for photos to the intimate ceremony at the most charming vintage store - everything was truly magical. Take a second and enjoy the beautiful ride that was Jaymee and Jake's wedding day.

Autumn Wedding in Cincinnati // McKenzie + Bill

What a privilege it was to document McKenzie and Will's story here in Cincinnati. Everything about this day was effortlessly charming, yet so simple and beautiful in every way- exactly how I would describe McKenzie and Bill. To the happy couple, thank you for your endless kindness and sharing such a heartwarming day with the world.

Croatian, Lakeside Wedding // Oconomowoc, WI // Kata + Dan

Kata and Dan - together for ten years and married this past September in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin at The Golden Mast Inn. This day was memorable for so many reasons. Though, what stood out was how their Croatian culture played a role in every moment. From the post-ceremony celebration outside their church to the special dances they performed during the reception, this day was an experience like nothing I've ever witnessed. It was refreshing and so darn lovely.

Oconomowoc, Wisconsin also has a significance in my life, as my great aunt lives on a lake just two miles down the road from Kata and Dan's wedding venue. We were able to take all of their portraits at my great aunt's summer house just as the sun started to set. I'll never forget this sunny day, the 16th of September, and the love I felt around with all 400 of Kata and Dan's closet friends and family in one place.

Rhinegeist Brewery Wedding // Katie + Andy

These two humans are wondrous. Absolutely out of this world. Stellar. Rad. Their wedding day was filled with every spectrum of emotion and so much effortless beauty. It's almost difficult to convey, so I'll let the images speak for themselves. Congrats to you, Katie and Andy. I wish the very best because that's just what you are.

Two-Day, Backyard Wedding // Crosley + Chris

Two days of love and celebration - what could be better? Chris and Crosley are some of the most awesome humans I've had the chance to get to know. They love each other so fiercely and it was incredible to watch as they became husband and wife. They married in Crosley's parent's backyard (the mid-century modern abode of my dreams) with their closest friends and family members. What should have been a hot, humid August day ended up feeling like a beautiful, brisk autumn evening. This day was blissful, joyful, and the best of the best. The next evening, Crosley and Chris put on another celebration for their guests at The Liberty Theater in Northside, Cincinnati. Crosley's parent's recently bought the space to rent out for events, so it truly felt like we were in their home once again. Chris and Crosley, you two are as rad they come. Sending so much love and happiness your way, as always. Cheers!

Devils Lake State Park, WI // One-Day Workshop // Sabriah + Eric

If you live anywhere near Devil's Lake State Park - ya gotta go. It's a little slice of what feels like the PNW in the midwest. We hiked up to these beautiful cliffs and caught one of the most radiant sunsets I've ever seen. Oh, and some fog rolled through casually which made for an unbelievable backdrop. All the thanks goes to Kristen Kaiser and Kyle Wilson of Hinterland Stills for putting on a rad workshop - you guys are the best. And a special shoutout to Eric and Sabriah Floberg aka the loveboats/models/amazing humans below.
