Rhinegeist Brewery Wedding // Katie + Andy

These two humans are wondrous. Absolutely out of this world. Stellar. Rad. Their wedding day was filled with every spectrum of emotion and so much effortless beauty. It's almost difficult to convey, so I'll let the images speak for themselves. Congrats to you, Katie and Andy. I wish the very best because that's just what you are.

Shout out to all the lovely vendors involved:

Two-Day, Backyard Wedding // Crosley + Chris

Two days of love and celebration - what could be better? Chris and Crosley are some of the most awesome humans I've had the chance to get to know. They love each other so fiercely and it was incredible to watch as they became husband and wife. They married in Crosley's parent's backyard (the mid-century modern abode of my dreams) with their closest friends and family members. What should have been a hot, humid August day ended up feeling like a beautiful, brisk autumn evening. This day was blissful, joyful, and the best of the best. The next evening, Crosley and Chris put on another celebration for their guests at The Liberty Theater in Northside, Cincinnati. Crosley's parent's recently bought the space to rent out for events, so it truly felt like we were in their home once again. Chris and Crosley, you two are as rad they come. Sending so much love and happiness your way, as always. Cheers!

Devils Lake State Park, WI // One-Day Workshop // Sabriah + Eric

If you live anywhere near Devil's Lake State Park - ya gotta go. It's a little slice of what feels like the PNW in the midwest. We hiked up to these beautiful cliffs and caught one of the most radiant sunsets I've ever seen. Oh, and some fog rolled through casually which made for an unbelievable backdrop. All the thanks goes to Kristen Kaiser and Kyle Wilson of Hinterland Stills for putting on a rad workshop - you guys are the best. And a special shoutout to Eric and Sabriah Floberg aka the loveboats/models/amazing humans below.

Press play, mmkay?

Chicago In-Home Engagement Session // Jaymee + Jake

Oh my goodness. These two are freaking amazing - that's my PSA. I am so grateful for them as new friends and their love that brought me to Chicago.  I got the chance to meet their furry family member, Leo, who wasn't a huge fan of me or my camera, but was so darn cute nonetheless (RIP to Mr. Leo who passed a recently). After hanging out at there home for a bit, we headed downtown and wandered around the busy streets, ending the night with a lovely Mediterranean dinner. I'm so grateful for people like Jaymee and Jake in my life and I hope you can see why in the photos below. So, press play and enjoy.

Greenhouse Styled Wedding // Kingwood Center Gardens

When you're asked to take part in a styled shoot set in a greenhouse, you do it. Especially when you get to work with so many other talented lady bosses. I don't do styled shoots often, but this one was breath of fresh air and inspiration. No pressure to submit to publishers - just a bunch of gals getting together to make something beautiful for the sake of art and fun.

Gretchen + Tim // Pattison Park + 1861 Inn // Cincinnati, OH

Gretchen and Tim reached out only a few weeks before their June wedding asking if I was available after their initial photographer had to back out. It amazes me still how this wedding came to be, just the simple timing of it all. Tim is from Australia and Gretchen met him years ago while studying abroad. They have been living there for five years now and came back to Gretchen's home to celebrate with family and friends.

I adored every minute of this day - especially getting to know Tim, Gretchen, and their closest friends and family. Gretchen's father collects old cars and brought a few to the wedding, adding to the already charming day. Oh, how humbling it was to witness two families from opposite ends of the world come together to celebrate in love.

Strasser Family // College Hill, Cincinnati

Meet Aaron, Ally, August and Arthur. I had the privilege of capturing this little family in their home on a sunny Wednesday evening, and I'm still giddy about having had the opportunity. Ally is an AMAZING photographer herself, so it was a true honor.  I'll forever stay inspired by the love I felt and unconditional connection they had with each other. Shout out to the Strassers - you guys are so so special. Also, family sessions that end with soft serve ice cream are number one in my book - am I right?

Kristin + Jake // One-Year Anniversary // Cincinnati, OH

Kristin + Jake were married about a year ago and wanted to celebrate by getting all dressed like they did on their wedding day. I adore anniversary session these days; it's a wonderful way to document your journey as a married couple and, of course, a reason to get more than one wear out of your dress. It was a beautifully overcast, June day while we meandered around Spring Grove Cemetery (one of the largest in the nation) admiring the history and beauty of it all.
